Alright, so the sweaters and first print of girl’s shirts finally came in! What a crazy learning process this has been! The good news is that with every new product we develop, the more improvements we make in the fine details.

Anyways, we added a cool new feature by adding a super secret hidden discount page that you can only get to through our facebook page so be sure to check it out. We can make dorm deliveries or provide pic-up orders at the SAC. While this promo is mainly for Walla Walla students and local residents we are thinking about adding a similar feature in the future for everyone else.

Another piece of good news is that we got an article done in the Collegian (WWU newspaper). So it seems, like the Jeffersons, we be movin’ on up!

Our next item that we are planning on releasing is v-neck apparel shirts for guys and “fresh the bear” tanks for girls. These will be done with gold foiling so we are very excited!!!

Anyhow, it is getting to be that time of year again when everybody packs up and heads home for the summer. My own personal plans for the next 3-4 months is to study for the MCATs and promote Freshman 101 in Seattle. But what a turning point it will be by the end of this school year. Many of the familiar faces on campus will be going on to the next chapter of their lives while old customs, routines and rituals will be history at the start of next year. Now don’t get me wrong, i know how nice it is to vacation from the strenous academics, but I can’t help but have a bittersweet taste about the whole situation. All in all, I will miss the friends that leave and treasure the experiences that we had and remain optimistic and keyed up for the future ahead. I heard some shrimping boat millionaire once say…”life is like a box of chocolates…you never know what you gonna get.”

So it is finally here! Two years ago, I began to make my own shirts (just for myself). The idea was that I wanted a shirt that expressed originality, positivity and humor. I wanted something that both expressed my character as well as matched my dunks (Nike shoes not actual slam dunks!) Eventually people took notice while I was wearing them and enough requests were made that Freshman 101 clothing line was born. So why in the world would I start something called Freshman 101 when I am in the senior year of my college career? The big question is: what does it mean?

Nothing compares to freshman year. Everything is new, strange and exciting. It’s the turning point of your life where you really begin to step out and find yourself. The world is your oyster and your future is wide open. What freshman year is really all about is the mindset you have at that time. In fact, no matter how old you become you can always look at the world through the eyes of a freshman. Were always learning, trying new things and daring to be different. In the end, it’s not just a class status, but rather… an attitude. Welcome to Orientation. Stay Fresh!

Apart from the normal apparel that Freshman 101 offers, there are two special series that are offered:

Character Series
In this series, there are 101 characters total.  The first three have been released to the public (“Fresh” the Bear, “Candoo” the dot and “Wallace” the T-rex).  Each character has its own name, species and major.  Many of them will be limited and come in custom colors.  Go ahead and find your character.  Happy collecting!  

Artists Series 
We have put together a collection of shirts that have been designed by an artist that defines the true essence of Freshman 101.  These will be released soon and all of the works are freshly original and many will be limited.  Be on the look out for these artist collections.
